Graduate Feedback
Here are some of the comments we’ve been getting from our graduates. Feel free to contact them where email addresses are available:
"The course has given me the most incredible amount of self
confidence that I have ever experienced before, for five years ago
I was told I wasn’t to live, and to meet light minded people,
it overwhelms me. Long term, I can’t wait to do some more courses."
"Makes you realise, don’t take corporate life or indeed
life too seriously, it is just not worth it! Just have a massage and
chill!"
"The students’ output in their knowledge, insights and
skill developed during the course in the performance of massage to
each other and the general public was fantastic and very impressive.
Keep up the good work done!!"
"I was extremely pleased with the training, particularly the
hands on from day one."
"I will recommend it to others!"
"The course has given me so much positive energy and confidence
in the subject. Natural High!"
Available Courses
We currently have 4 different courses available:
Massage Certificate Course
Our 5 day Massage Certificate Course is a very intensive full 5 days, which focuses on practical “hands-on” techniques drawn from many of the world’s great traditions, or created by Brandon Raynor himself. This massage certification also involves learning some of the strategies involved in performing a good massage treatment.
The combination of these techniques and strategies works towards an overall goal of the total release of all tension in the muscles of the body and the opening up of the channels or meridians through which the chi (life force) flows.more info
Massage Diploma Course
The Massage Diploma course combines the first 5 days of the Massage Certificate program with 5 more exceptional information-packed days.
It can be undertaken in one two week period, or the first 5 days of the Certificate program can be completed first and the remaining 5 days completed some time in the future.
Day 6 of the massage diploma course will involve a role play of a full practitioner/client interaction from taking a case history to doing a full massage to suit the client’s needs within a certain length of time. There will be a valuable discussion period after this treatment where any areas that a student needs to improve will be highlighted. This will give the student an idea of the areas that they need to focus on in the next 4 days of the course. more info
Advanced Massage Diploma
The Advanced Diploma is for graduates of the Diploma course or for graduates of the Certificate course who also have a lot of practical experience.
This course expands and elaborates upon techniques and strategies
taught in the earlier courses. This course is only taught by the head
of the school and founder of the Raynor Massage Style, Naturopath
Brandon Raynor.
This course teaches students to increase their diagnostic and treatments skills to make their treatments even more effective and transformative. The main focus of this course is the stimulation of chi flow in the body and the release of pent up emotional material.more info
Massage Therapy Course Requirements
The good thing about our massage therapy courses is that you don’t need to know anything about massage therapy before you start the course.
Even so, after you’ve finished either our 5 day massage certificate course or our 10 day massage diploma course you will be able to practice as a professional massage therapist.
How is that possible?
In our massage therapy courses we teach you the essence of massage – only
those aspects that you really need to be able to address people’s
unique physical situation. Our massage training focuses on the practical
aspects rather than the theoretical aspects of massage.more

How Our Courses Are Conducted
Every massage class we offer is generally focused on the 3 pillars of our practical, hands-on massage education:
Giving massages: We feel that it is very crucial
that our students start massaging from the very beginning of the course.
We believe that to study massage means to learn by doing. In this way
one can, in a very short period of time, develop the sense of touch
needed to be able to; connect to the massage recipient, detect tension
in muscles and connective tissue, appreciate the energetic relationship
between massage therapist and client, and begin to witness the impact
of different manipulations on the body. Learning by doing is the biggest
focus in any Raynor massage class.
Receiving massages: You can’t really become a good massage therapist without experiencing all of the massage techniques on yourself. Receiving a massage treatment will give you great insight into how each massage technique actually ‘feels’. This will help you to develop a sensitivity for the reactions and bodily cues of your future clients. Understanding your clients needs will be the key to your success as a masseuse.more info
