Due to the high demand for Raynor Massage and for intensive and high quality massage training, our massage school has rapidly grown and expanded since 1999 from its humble origins as a small massage school in Bondi Beach, Sydney, Australia, to become one of the world's leading international massage & natural therapies school. Keeping with our roots in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney we have now opened a full time clinic and school at 45 Oxford St, Bondi Junction, Sydney, Australia and a permanent branch of our school at 181 High St in Northcote, Melbourne, Australia while still conducting massage courses in many locations worldwide including but not limited to London, Dublin, North of England, Cape Town, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Hawaii, Vermont, Wyoming, Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Gold Coast, and Darwin.

We are also developing a permanent retreat centre for our massage courses and our Naturopathy classes on the west Coast of Oahu in Hawaii. We have a beautiful 2 acre property, on a mountain, beside the ocean and are investing a lot of time and money in developing it so that in a few years we will be able to conduct our courses in this idyllic location, feeding the course participants freshly grown food including tropical fruits of all varieties, all grown on the rich volcanic soil of the land. Raynor Massage is a deep, intensive massage which works to allow clients to:

The goal of a good massage is to find any chronic muscle tension, even when the person is relaxed, and to get rid of it. In Eastern styles of massage there is also a central goal to develop sensitivity to the flow of the chi, or life force, through the body and to open up the various channels through which it flows and remove any blockages. Raynor massage combines these two goals offering a holistic and highly effective treatment.

Along with the development of its own unique techniques, Raynor Massage adapted techniques from many styles of massage, including; therapeutic and remedial massage, deep tissue massage, reflexology, Shiatsu massage, Lomi Lomi (Hawaiian massage), Tui Na, Acupressure, Thai and Swedish massage and integrated the most effective parts of these treatments. In this way, we have developed a very powerful and focused style of both massage and teaching. We do stay focused on our goal of getting the tension out of people and unblocking them.

Our courses are open to everyone from the age 16 and there are no qualification prerequisites to do our course, we simply request that students have a passion to learn and a desire to help others through massage. Our courses can involve emotional transformations in people that do require a mature perspective on emotional matters.

The main emphasis in our teaching of massage therapy is to equip the students to feel and find muscle tightness in the body and know how to get rid of it. We train our students to feel tension. Our courses are intensive and practical, we do not spend time in lectures, pouring over textbooks and there are no written exams. We will recommend further reading for you and we encourage all of our students to take their ongoing professional development seriously. As part of this our graduates are entitled and encouraged to join INTA, the International Natural Therapists Association. INTA members not only need to sign up to standards of professional behaviour but are linked into this central point for information about ongoing professional development and to keep up to date with massage developments, INTA also provides a global referral service for people wanting to find a Raynor Practitioner near to them.
