Upcoming Course

The first Advanced Raynor Massage diploma was just completed with great success.

Please contact Brandon to enquire when the next will be held.

Advanced Raynor Massage Diploma

This course expands and elaborates upon techniques and strategies taught in the earlier courses and is only taught by the head of the school, and founder of the Raynor Massage Style, Naturopath Brandon Raynor.

This course teaches students to increase their diagnostic and treatments skills to make their treatments even more effective and transformative. The main focus of this course is the stimulation of chi flow in the body and the release of pent up emotional material.

Although these techniques are touched upon in the earlier courses, Brandon will show people how to make these quicker and more effective as well as smoother. There will also be a few more advanced techniques shown but the overall emphasis will be on the big picture of making a powerful integrated massage treatment using techniques already learnt with the overall purpose of totally freeing the body of tension and blocked areas of energy congestion.

This course is only open to previous graduates so the pace of the course will be intense and quicker focusing on each of the students in the class and Massage teacher Brandon Raynor gives demonstrationindividualizing the massage treatment to suit the individual. Students in this class will be receiving a lot of first class massage treatments from the other students and from Brandon Raynor with the goal of getting rid of all the tension in the students’ bodies so they can realize what that feels like.

Most of this course will be focused on treating each of the students as if they were a client and what would be the best strategy to treat that person. It is recommended that people who attend this course are definitely comfortable at receiving a deep massage as Brandon often works quite deep with people!

Price and Accomodation

The cost of the 6 and a half day course will be US$1995 not including accommodation or airfare. Accomodation at the Makaha resort is very nice and well priced. You can book directly with them or get it a bit cheaper by booking through hotels.com

I have seen accommodation available there on that site for $80/night. Also for airfares I would recommend using websites such as Expedia, Expedia UK, Travelocity, Orbitz, or Priceline.

If you have any questions please let us know and we can help get a good airfare. You should be able to get here from most parts of the world for US$800 return.

Spaces are limited!!!!

Location

About Makaha and West Oahu:

The very best of Oahu’s north-west beaches is to be discovered at Makaha, where the mountain views are at their most dramatic, the sands at their widest and the surf at its wildest, in winter months, but serene and gentle enough throughout summer. Surfing championships are held here throughout winter, and it is world famous as an international surfer’s hangout with several low rise condominiums and vacation rentals discreetly nestled within residential areas preserving the areas uniquely Hawaiian style country feeling.

Hawaiian sea turtleIn early summer (March-May), you might see humpback whales off the coast. And there is always plentiful sea life, including people friendly sea turtles to attract divers and snorkellers all year around. South of Makaha the beaches are also picturesque and plentiful, each offering a diverse landscape, beauty and swimming conditions from big waves to still waters, and are the favorite hang-outs of local Hawaiian families. All the beaches on the Waianae coast offer gorgeous views with good swimming, life guards and are one of the best areas for camping with lots of state beach parks and a best of all uniquely Hawaiian atmosphere that radiates the true spirit of aloha.

The award winning course:

Designed by William F. Bell to accent the stunning natural landscape of Makaha Valley, the championship course was acclaimed for its beauty as much as it’s rigor by Golf Digest, and was named the island's best course by Honolulu Magazine.

The classic 18-hole, 7,077-yard, par 72 course calls for a variety of shots and just about every club in your bag. With a USGA rating of 73.2, it challenges professionals and amateurs alike.

Those with a sense of history will delight knowing that Hawaii's royalty used Makaha Valley for their recreation. The peacocks seen and heard throughout the valley were a gift from King Kalakaua to the owner of the historic Makaha Valley Ranch more than 100 years ago.
